Jennifer Cooper – Stylist / Salon Coordinator

Jennifer is a graduate of Miller-Motte College in Wilmington, NC. She started her career at dsparada Color Salon 2 years ago as a part of the assistant program. She has attended the Goldwell Academy, where she completed a See It, Think It, Create It class, and is also a certified Pureologist. Jennifer has become an accomplished stylist and enthusiastically keeps up with the latest hair.

Rick Campeau – Stylist

Rick comes to dsParada with over 32 years of styling experience and his specialties include hair cutting, straightening, coloring and highlighting. Rick was the owner/operator of several salons from Vermont to Florida and studied his craft at the Scott’s Modeling Agency in San Francisco. He worked as a platform artist for Schwarzkopf for 5 years as a colorist and spent 2 years in Italy training in different cutting techniques. He has been using Goldwell Color for 15 years and is certified in keratin protein relaxers. Rick’s Cosmetologist Licenses include the Vermont College of cosmetology and the Florida Beauty Academy. Rick’s approach to client’s includes getting to know you, what you are looking for and finding the perfect style for you which is just as important as the technique.

Vicki Holt – Stylist

A Raleigh native Vicki is an accomplished colorist with 18 years’ experience. Having been an educator with Schwarzkopf Color for 7 years and Logics International for 3 she brings a vast working knowledge of hair color and coloring techniques. Vicki has trained under many of the top colorists in the nation such as Billy Yamaguchi with Schwarzkopf Color, Douglas Murphy with CHI Color and has studied makeup trends under Rudy Miles of AVEDA. Her favorite cutting technique is razor cuts. She loves to take classic shapes and bring a modern edge to them whether it is by adding color to accent a cut or just creating a new looking for her guests. Vicki is excited to be the newest member of dsparada team and looks forward to your appointment with her.

Marissa Adkins – Stylist

Graduating in the top five percentile from Mitchell’s Academy; Marissa brings her passion for hair, desire to make people feel great, and hard work ethic to dsparada! She specializes in Redken color products, but is highly eager and enthusiastic to gain more Goldwell experience. She has attended Goldwell cut, color and finish two day workshop taught by Thomas Dewing, and has had product knowldge in our Kevin Murphy line. She has experience in behind the sceens photoshoots right here in Raleigh, so is especially excited to work with the team to sharpen her skills.  Marissa is known for her top of the line, no gray area , thorough consultations!!

Ambrosia Sharkey – Assistant

As the newest member of the assistant program Ambrosia comes to us from the Aveda Institute of Chapel Hill. Her enthusiasm and passion for the industry gives the salon a fresh new vibe. An aspiring protégé of Don Stacy She loves learning the best of cutting, coloring, and editorial styling. She loves working as part of the DS Parada team, and is looking forward to working behind the chair and getting involved in the editorial world.
